C. A. Webb's brainchild HIPHOP AND BOOKS brings new chapter to Jackson, Mississippi and beyond Shadow Play Entertainment and its partners* are pleased to announce the upcoming HIPHOP AND BOOKS Celebration!
This event will be held in Jackson, MS and will celebrate the national recording artists that are joining the project geared towards connecting music and book lovers one show at a time. Join us on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Clarion Hotel & Suites (I-55N * Frontage Road). Enjoy special performances by Universal Republic recording artist Josh Gates, "Mr. Virginia" Jon Boy form VH1's THE WHITE RAPPER SHOW and Mississippi's own The Blak Circle, OndreaNicole, Jack Squad and more. This event is hosted by the ladies of NAKED CONVERSATIONS radio talk show.
Admission is $5.00. Doors open at 7p.m. The show begins at 8p.m. Members of the media get in free with proper I.D. All proceeds benefit the HIPHOP AND BOOKS PROJECT that encourages lovers of music to remember the importance of reading and staying in school.
