Dark Angel Gives in to Shadow Play 1/24/2004 2:34:35 PM
C. A. Webb, Inc. terminates the name Dark Angel Productions from its publishing entity. In high school I was given the nickname of Dark Angel. The reason was because my classmates said I appeared to be so innocent, yet they knew I had a dark side. I had to agree.
So, when I began my publishing entity in 1999 with my autobiographical poetry, it seemed to make sense that I would call the organization DARK ANGEL PRODUCTIONS. And for the past four years I have found success with the volumes that have been birthed from DAP.
Now it's 2004. And with a new year, I find myself evaluating who I am at this time. Am I the same person that relished the "dark angel" persona before? No. I have seen myself grow into a more well-rounded person than the young man that my old classmates knew. So why shouldn't my organization reflect that change.
I think it should.
Therefore, effective immediately, my publishing entity will be called Shadow Play Publications under the umbrella of what is my production group Shadow Play Entertainment.
It is my hope that this change will open the doors for me to continue to expand and broaden in my appeal.
