The new metamorphosis of C. A. Webb 3/28/2005 11:50:35 AM
Today I was interviewed by Gary Pettis of the Clarion Ledger. They are going to be running a story on me this Friday concerning my supposed "rise" in the fields of arts, entertainment, media and film. Those close to me know that I don't like interviews--- which is odd since I interview people all the time on my shows. But this one was different, and I think the main reason is because I am in so many ways ready to express the person that I have become.
The metamorphosis that began last year has taken on new twists and turns as 2005 has come in, and I wouldn't say that it has all been positive. I am a person with success on my side, true. But I am also a person with problems: problems that if left unchecked will destroy everything that I have worked so hard to build.
So I am treading cautiously. Cautious not to let my desire for the good life blind me to the accountability that I know we all have. I have done alot of good this year, but some would argue that the bad has not been too far behind. So what does that mean? Not sure. Again, it just prompts me to tread lightly and not to take anything for granted.
It has all been given to me with some degree of speed. It could be taken away just as easily.
