Wow. It's been a while since I've shared anything here in my blog, but during the past few months I have been reaccessing my life and what is important. And what I have determined is importance first and foremost is love. Love from my family. Love from my friends. Love from my Heavenly Father. And love of myself.
I have been busy working on the follow-up to my April triumph METAMORPHOSIS... and the title of the new poetry chapbook came to me long before I began writing the actual work: THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. A bold title for what would be probably my most eyebrow-raising work to date. And the poetry? It is living up to the name of the project.... moreso than I expected.
Other than that, I have been just trying to enjoy the life that as become that of C. A. Webb. I realize now that "he" has taken on a persona that I will never really have as Cyrus A. Webb. His persistance and drive surpass that of mine, and I almost find myself competing with his mistique.
This month... the last of 2004 has seen me be awarded "Artist of the Year," the end of an chapter on my television and radio shows, as well as the start of something really unexpected. I think I'm in love.
That's right, love. The "dark angel" has found someone that brings light into his life, and I'm just enjoying everyday of it. Who would have thought that a year full of professional successes could have spawned this personal addition. But it has.
