As freelance writer was is the value of a logo? I have decided to redesign my letterhead and business cards. First need is: a new logo, one that is simple, clean, sleek and carries a clearer message.
Since I am an obessive sort of person this search for a new logo has taken me many hours...and I still have nothing final.
This makes me wonder: do we NEED to have a logo? Do we need anything more than our name?
What tools do we require to create the professional image that we seek?
Until I set myself up as a freelance writer (officially) these issues were neither here nor there. I did, after all, tend to be more of a novel writer (unpublished--as yet), but now that I am delving into more freelance work is a rethink called for? Yes, I am achieving success as a freelance writer, and creating a name for myself, but do I need something more, something that states my committment?
Or am I simply carried away on a tangent?
And why aren't there any cool cliparts or free logo creaters for writers?
