CHALLENGING TIMES NEED SMART DECISIONS AND I THINK LAST NIGHT AMERICA MADE THEIRS! Its about time to add some color to the portrait of all Americas Presidents. Whether or not you agreed with President Obama's views you have to admit, that it is about time. I have always been a Republican, if that means anything, and yesterday I voted for Obama. What sealed my decision was the view on the television from Chicago that showed all the supporters in the Park for Obama and what i loved was the diversity of the crowd; young, old, male, female, black, white, Mexican, Jamaican, German, Irish, Spanish, Russian, Iranian, Egyptian and so many more. You get the picture; this country is a melting pot and all us should be given the opportunity to succeed on an even plane. The enormity of his election proves to the world how great we are as a nation. How the majority of us can defuse the ignorance that sometimes corrupts us from making the correct decision based on skin color. It has reassured my confidence in this country that we are good people and the future is bright and promising. Maybe those people or countries around the world that once had a negative view of us will realize how awesome we are. The world needs to learn a lesson especially those countries that fight amongst each other over religious or ethnic issues, that the facts are in; Democracy works and people from all walks of life can come together, unite and elect a new president no matter what religious, racial or ethnic back round they come from.
Good Luck President Obama! Do whats right and make us proud!
