"Enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." -Matthew 7- Many times growing up I read this and had no clue what this verse was speaking of. Even as an sdult the truth within the words escaped me. But as the maturation process in spirit began to grow I realized how enlightening its message was. My search and I'm sure for many of you has been following the heard. Traveling with the masses wandering for years looking for the truth, believing that staying with the majority would provide the correct answers. But after 40 years nothing really changed. I was still lost in the desert. The realization in Matthew 7 was that I needed a change in consciousness. There is only one way under the sun by which we can attain harmony, that is, health, prosperity, and peace of mind-and that is by bringing about a radical and permanent change for the better in ones consciousness. I have tried every road, every method and nothing brought harmony or salvation to my being. The way of life I believe is through the straight gate, the narrow path, for the rewards here are not temporary but permanent. The very nature of our being is by changing the internal structure for the better which will in turn alter our external experiences. The essence of this Christ message is to make the shift, the decision to take the road less traveled and receive the love and the power of God.
