Making that change will lead you down the narrow path, but thats ok because here is where salvation begins. Do you believe in your heart you are living right? Are your values and beliefs centered on whats in it for me, or are they centered on what can I do for others. Usually a self evaluation and inventory on whether or not you are being honest with yourself is needed. Think to yourself about which emotions and feelings are getting the best of you? Is the foundation of your belief system based on material conquests or is it based on the foundation of God and Faith. Read the following Scripture from the First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians and see if it doesnt resonate with you in your search for change.
"Brothers and Sisters, in the past I could not talk to you as I talk to spiritual people. I had to talk to you as I would to people without the Spirit-babies in Christ. The teaching I gave you was like milk, not solid food, because you were not able to take solid food. And even now you are not ready. You are still not spiritual, because there is jealousy and quarreling among you, and this shows that you are not spiritual. You are acting like people of the world."
If life has not turned out the way you wanted maybe today you make that change, that shift in thinking and faith and try something new. Listen to the soul inside you, not the outer world.
