Reaching Out

Hello,
As a writer and also an individual who runs her company from a home office, I sometimes find it easy to isolate myself too much. Except for the time that I spend interacting with clients and students, I have long hours where I work on individual projects. Though, I do enjoy my work, I find that I have to make sure that I reach out to others for support, friendship, ideas, and objective feedback. I recently spent a day where I was with hundreds of people in a volunteering situation and I was so energized and inspired by these people. I was again reminded of the importance of relationships. For all of you out there researching, writing, and tackling huge projects--make sure that you reach out to others. You will find yourself with more motivation, inspiration, and appreciation.
