Dull Day on the Bloggin' Trail 6/26/2010 5:49:49 AM
It's just not the same with the dog absent. Hi All,
Well, it is a dull day here. We've had rain and that's a good thing in our neck of the woods. Sure don't want tinder dry woodlands.
The birds tried their very best to sing as cheerful a tune as they could as I stood on the bloggin' trails. It just couldn't be done....no, with my faithful canine companion gone life has certainly changed. The desire to go strollin' down the trails has not been enticing enough for me even when my eyes gaze over to the rich, lush green forest.
I know there are many little stories just waiting for me to tell, however nature and the wildlife will have to be patient. It is good to hear the birds and their various levels of music. They are a wonderful gift of solace for me, even if I just stand at the opening of the trails.
So, for today, maybe, just maybe one of you will come strollin' down the trails with a greeting that would make anyone smile. Until then hope to see you on the bloggin' trails.
