Well! I guess I've been "cyber bullied"! 2/2/2013 8:35:16 PM
Read on. A couple of days ago, I was watching subscribed viewing on YouTube. As I have mentioned before, I quite often watch documentaries about nuclear war. I saw what looked like an interesting documentary about one of the fighter-bombers the US had in the late 50s.
Much to my surprise, James Stewart, who was a colonel in the reserves, was the commentator. He was talking about this new jet which had set all sorts of speed records, making it very should difficult to be shut down. I believe that the plane he was talking about was similar to the fictional bombers in "Fail Safe". I think it was called the Hustler.
Now, Jenny was just as pleased as could be about this new jet and how it gave America the edge in the Cold War. I had to stop watching it part way through, due to distaste.
I left a comment, which basically said: "Can we spell ' warmongering'"?
I was informed I think yesterday, that I had received a response to my view. The young man, whose picture showed him to be what I would call a thug, was: "that's just because you are a pussy." Usually, the hosts of things don't allow for that kind of talk...or, at least, that's what I thought. I asked the young gentleman if it is NRA subscription was in order and that when the big one comes the third degree burns we will probably receive will have us both screaming, policies or not.
Sorry this is kind of a downer of a post but I was extremely pissed off. I should've told him that between the two of us I was the only one who had probably been trained to kill people.
