In memory of my dear friend and our fellow writer Smoke Martin who passed last week.
Till then my Friend Heaven is a brighter place Because you’re there today Angels smiling as they hear The witty things you say Joy is all you know now No more suffering or pain And I find comfort knowing That our loss is heavens gain Till then my friend, when that day comes That we’ll meet face to face I’ll think of you in heaven Which is now a brighter place Jack Roberts – July 31, 2006

My thoughts and prayers are with Smoke's family and all who knew her. I'm sure she is smiling down on you, right now. This is a beautiful tribute to a fine, fine soul.

My condolences to you, Jack. I know you loved Smoke.
But I believe she's bursting with pride, reading this piece.
