a sonnet
Why do you want the world to end? What on earth is your hurry? Life embraces you as a friend But you sow fear and worry
Saving your soul have you lost your mind Disdaining those you would leave behind? The world will end when it is ready Till then hold on and ride it steady
Life is gentle and will forgive Your sin of unseemly haste As for me and mine we will live Nor let our world go to waste
I wonder: will you ever understand The gift of life in your impatient hand?

I have many photos similar to this.. I love them.. they mean so much to me having held a precious life so small though lifeless in my hand and still being able to hold those so full of energy when it is allowed. It took me a very long time to understand such words that you write and many of my poems from the past reflect that, I do not date them anymore as no one seems to care but surely you know enough.. to know.. I've missed you and your works
I like this. On a personal level, I have a wife, three children and five grandchildren. The thought of my wife and kids trying to mourn over me and explain to my grandchildren why Granpa isn't here is a sad thought. God must have more for me to do. That is why he keeps me here. Until he calls I consider Heaven to be right here.
