DNA In something of a paradox My whiskers are orthodox As unorthodox as I may Be I know they grow this way Though not having known what to do So leaving them alone to Have grown into orthodoxy On their own I see them be When less than orthodox have gone Still until the end of me Some hairs I can depend upon Some stubbornness that will stay Like me paradoxically Transcendental anyway From deep down in my DNA Steven Curtis Lance
