Nearly Nero Day by day as seen on TV A fearful situation An earful of indignity Clearly nearly Nero now Sneering hero to some somehow Having zero tolerance For anything but the grievance Of his insult comedy Disrespectful but expecting Respectful reelecting A cult of personality That digs his indignation Taken out upon the nation Forsaken mistakenly The nation is shaken to be Awakening reflecting Though Nero fiddles on for now Not my hero anyhow Steven Curtis Lance

Well put. He certainly is fiddling away his credibility with mournful blaming and high praises for the un-praiseworthy.

Nero: According to Tacitus he was said to have seized Christians as scapegoats for the Roman fire and burned them alive, seemingly motivated not by public justice but by personal cruelty. Don't see that happening just yet.
