As the emperor goes mad
How soon no one knows
Now just how mad just how bad
It has to get for
The ones who got the money
Got and kept it all
To say enough not funny
No fun anymore
Bored with insult comedy
They edge toward the door
Hedge their bets as they can see
Through the haze of hate
To make up their minds about
His imperium
Take their tax cuts and get out
Feeling kind of dumb
But if not the best of us
Better than before
Stepping back to let it fall
With a nudge from fate
Fall of its own weight no less
Judged if not by them
Hoping now is not too late
To be rid of him
As too bad for business
As just how it goes
Write on, Steven!! When Wall Street crashes, "those people" will "see" that they've been mislead. "No fun anymore"............Yes! Then again, was it ever? Hello 2020 election "For the rest of us"!!
