The Forgotten

The Forgotten Take flight with wings of fire Through clouds of stone gray Leave your mark across the sky Forgotten love, lost desire Travel long this endless path Seeking pieces lost along the way Gather them within the heart Guarding them well against the wrath Storms that drive you back Rain like rocks pelting down Stumbling blinding all the way Leaving the soul bruised and black No sky, no ground No feet to carry you No eyes to see No arms to surround A land of nothingness is found Only emptiness awaits Your sacred search laments As the heart falls to the ground Your reach is short by years Weakened muscles strain Lost in forgotten movements All that�s left are tears.
