Soul Songs

In dark of night
Near slumber's gate
Adrift in hazed expectation

With rhythmic breath
And joyful heart
I await divine elation

Wrapped in love's embrace
Within sacred space
My soul begins to sing

It sings on and on
Such blissful songs
Until the light of dawn

Soul songs go round in my heart too. I long for my time to end and to join Tom, but it is not meant to be for us to be together again yet. Meanwhile my soul sings each day a song of love waiting for him and to see him again. Good write.
