Life's Spiritual Gold

An inner message commands my attention
It urges me drink of life's sweet sweet waters
Demanding I recognize its precious gifts
Singing new songs -- celebrating "now" matters

It urges me rejoice in my present moments
Hurling me past memory's old pain and sorrow
Enmeshing me laughingly in a happy today
Cherishing new hopes of blessed tomorrows

Kiss me Dear Life -- with perfumed lips of joy
Send messages of love to my weary soul
Send healing  rays throughout my being
Let me savor each moment of your spiritual gold
