A Strange  Relationship

I have this strange relationship
with a woman who's my wife
Sometimes I cook
and she does to
but she always holds the knife

In the morning she has breakfast
next to me in bed
dribbleing her milk and oats
sometimes onto my head

she opens up the windows
to get a clean fresh breeze
not caring that the heating's on
and it's minus eight degrees

I have this strange relationship
and she has one with me
toleration is the way it works
toleration is the key

we each can be annoying
in our unique and simple way
but she's the one who holds the knife
that's all I have to say

I love my wife with all my heart
I'll make that very clear
to me she is most precious
and I do not live in fear

Toleration plain and simple
now you know the facts
my wife the beauty who holds the knife
and me I hold the axe!
