Angel.
On the cliff edge, at a desolate space,
stood a beautiful woman,
with a gaunt haunted face.
Tear stained cheeks, heart filled with woe,
a mind that is pounding,
telling her to "Go."
Go where there is peace, and everything's bright,
no one's unhappy, cocooned in his light.
As the stars twinkle up in the sky,
her mind thinks of memories,
and times that's gone by.
Laughter and love, from a family so strong,
to leave them and hurt them, would all be so wrong.
Words will build bridges, and mend broken hearts,
bravery and courage will bring brand new starts.
She turns from the cliff top, no longer alone.
An angel walks with her on her way home....
