It was a dark and lonely path I walked.
With heavy step and a heart long locked.
Life had become an endless dark maze.
Marked only by my many regrets.
And the good times one quickly forgets.

"Blessed are you whose worthiness gives scope,
  Being had, to triumph; being lacked, to hope."

I felt as if I was being stalked.
My every effort was being mocked.
The world had become a labyrinth.Filled with my fears and shadowy threats.
Of deep dark pits and cruel bloody nets.

"The mind I sway by and the heart I bear
  Shall never sag with doubt nor shake with fear"

Although my heart felt like it was hawked.
And my soul felt like it was landlocked.
My life looking more like a puzzle.
And yet no matter how hard it gets.
I’ll trust the Lord who’s paid all my debts.

"So, till the judgement that yourself arise,
 You live in this, and dwell in lovers' eyes."
