Fictional words to a fictional son, but in reality its going on
*Hardly a moment* *to say goodbye* *the train was leaving* *no time to cry,* *just gave a wave* *as the train pulled away,* *'Be careful son.' I said.* *He never heard* *as the train rolled out* *too much noise* *too many people about,* *then he was gone* *just a hand at the window,* *'Be careful son.' I said.* *Why is there all this fighting* *soldiers going to wars* *so many people dying.* *How many sons* *will not be returning,* *and unheard words* *still repeating* *'Be careful son.'*
