Somehow I was there
had arrived at this door
I know it was a dream
but my being there seemed so sure,
there was no number on the door
yet to me it was
oh so familiar.
As if I had been there
walked through it so many times
I wanted to knock at the door
but I was frozen inside,
it was like I knew what was
on the otherside
it was making me nervous
uneasy inside.
My heart beat faster
as if it would burst
my head was buzzing
with unmentionable words,
sweat was pouring
from my brow
then someone shook me
said 'Come on sir, you cant sleep here.'
