Hebrews 11

Poem Artwork

Maybe I am

maybe I am not

maybe I am cold

maybe I am hot.

Maybe you see

what does not exist

do you not believe

you will take your next breath?

Maybe it is true

the sky does not exist,

but I will not let another man

tell me what I believe

is myth.

For I hold as treasure

my imagination

it is for me a gift

that turns words

into dramatisation.

You see when I was smaller

call me then a child

I listened to the radio

what I heard

it came alive.

I would hear the characters speaking

I would see them in my mind

so so long ago

I learned

that words are not blind.

So when I say maybe

I beg you do not doubt,

allow your imagination

to step from within

out.

It will allow you to believe

in a blue sky

not see everything

in just black and white

but ask why.

It will nuture faith in you

tell you God exists

and you will learn to talk with him

never ever doubt

he really exists.

A well thought out a spirtual poem. It does not matter what I think. God will be here for all of us anyway. I know He is always by my side. If someone were to say they could take a grain of sand and put it in the dirt and big beautiful colors would come from that grain of sand folks would say that's crazy. Then again, what is a mustard seed? How big a plant comes from that seed? Why are we so foolish NOT to see Gods' Glory? His Glory is all around us! We just need to open our eyes. Amen!
