It stands to reason

here and there...during this season 

our best laid plans will lose...cohesion 

but remember...The King, yet Reigns! 

Brought forth in predestined time 

our Precious Advocate Divine... 

makes all things work together well...to combine 

He proves...The King, yet Reigns! 

Let...nothing...take your joy 

with your eyes on Him...employ...

faith beyond the unexpected hoy 

finding that...The King, yet Reigns!  

Twas His angels and shining star 

which guided men...from near and far 

to behold the infant 'I AM'...the Czar!

for...The King, yet Reigns!

Intentional...was that place where He lay 

the Highest became Lowest on that wonderful day! 

before an adoring mixture of poor and rich clay... 

for us! ...The King, yet Reigns! 

And it's still a time for closeness...not estrange 

there's a purpose for the falling rain... 

chase that disappointment...reach...for eternal gain 

indeed...The King, yet Reigns! 

Lift up your head and celebrate! 

use those stones as a platform to concentrate 

on that Marvelous Christmas Story...let none berate... 

He's on His Throne! ...The King...yet Reigns!
