Red Lips Dangling

She took her lips, and rouged them red,
Slightly spread, and smiling.
Blew them a kiss, those red, red lips,
And hung them on dark ruby’s thread
She wore adorned about her ankle.
The cord was tied, a dulling black,
Wrapped thrice round bones; with
Small silver phial holding red-life gems;
Dangling her heart -- in forms of ruby stones.
Her moonchild mind moon-bathed in time,
Her Crab an astrological steed entwined,
Red-shelled and brittle-laughtered,
With the constellations of her future.
She looked at lips, and looked at gems,
And, felt a premonition -- of red impassioned.

You're a sweetie, Elga, thanks! :)
Beautiful imagery and a true gem of a write, but why a premonition of red disaster ? why not red passion, it should be so !
warm hugs
