A stranger wandered through the night,
with undrawn breath,
and unknown depth,
innocence in flight...

A stranger searched above her head,
where stars were dim,
and clouds were few,
the day had long been dead.

A stranger wished for the daybreak in vain,
but the stars shone on,
and the darkness grew,
a stranger gave up once again

A stranger walked with haunting pace,
with fear in her eyes,
and the moonbeams caught
a tear upon her face.

A stranger wiped the tear to the floor,
took a backward glance,
turned to the shadows
and lost herself once more.

A stranger melted into the night
with undrawn breath,
and unknown depth,
innocence in flight..
