TALIESEN'S DREAM song lyrics by Joel Sattler based on a translation of CAD DODDEU "The Battle of the Trees" by Taliesin I have been an eagle a boat on the sea I have been a shield much more than me when the woods were waiting to be something more than trees they sang an old song full of wind blown harmonies I am Taliesen and I sing for them I sing of a dream the forest is my friend I dream that I am a dream and the dream that I am is a dream of a dream of a dream I have been a sword I have been a raindrop I have been a spear a viper on a rock I have been the fire that in the lantern glows I have been a word that nobody knows I dream that I am a dream and the dream that I am is a dream of a dream of a dream I had a thousand shapes before this shape was formed I had a thousand names before this soul was born I have dwelt in hills in melodies of song but I had no form till Arthur came along I dream that I am a dream and the dream that I am is a dream of a dream of a dream ============= ��
