this nonsense
one the other hand it names 17 trees, two mamals, a fungi, two weeds, and a biotope
it was intended, above all to be fun

----- 30 -----

“We run we walk we dance a jig.”,
the maple said to the oak. But oak
stood pinned upon the floor, while
naughty pine wrote rude sumac
upon the balsam fir. Popular boxed
would cedar briar entwine
the rowan ma hog and knee truffles
chased through savannah of oak.
Then beech-aged golden fluid
grain produced flowed hickory
dickery burdock, through ashen
red pine martin and sheep sorrel.
Aspen quivered with willow’s
weeping birch who made paper and beer
to cheer tamarack’s fall.
