I am not sure how we got to this point: Lying in this rented bed, naked I had no intention of this when we met by chance last night no desire for today except to reconnect at lunch. But lunch lead to a long walk which lead to drinks in your hotel room then I went to leave a friendly kiss became an invitation: You asked, I begged. We agreed That was hours ago... Now your probing fingers have aroused me yet again. You smile as you slide onto me beginning another long journey to nowhere ● ● ●

I loved this poem when I read the last word: 'nowhere'. This comes as a total surprise - a bathos .. A very smart interesting twist that lent a lot of depth to the poem, that could otherwise be described as erotic.
