Poem Artwork

After Twenty Years

I am not sad today

Just somewhere

In utter gray space

I just feel light headed

Spaced out

My body has no substance

Within this gray fog

That allows no vision

I do not want to look back

Or ever feel this pain again

Because on the 24th day of May

The biggest pain ever came my way

My little girl did die on this day

She did not see the sun go down

But received her angel wings

By the side of God

To prepare a place

For those still to come

I am sad for your loss. I too have felt this pain. Time helps, it does not erase.

Well said poem.

We shall all meet again in heaven, where we will spend our eternity with God and our loved ones. The time on this earth is just a blip compared to eternity. Something to strive for and achive.
