Poem Artwork

"Till The End"

Because nothing seems for real

I will always be a dreamer

Tomorrow will bring a new day

But for today I say thank you

The future will come

And the future will go

You may put me down in history

Bury me here in this critic’s world

If I had the power within me

I would change this moment

But alone I stand

While dark brings the night

I am alone

I do not defend

Or respond to offend

I fear the result

Knowing

How I truly

Feel about you

But obviously

For some stupid reason

I will not know

For sure

What I feel

Till the

End

Very nice poem, Tinka -- introspection is good for the soul, or at least that's what I've found.
I enjoyed.

Very well said Tinka, you said it better than I ever could have tonight. The end always tells huh! Always dare to dream though and never loose hope!

Beautiful write...I believe that we should dream, dreams do come true if we really believe and press toward our dream. I always dreamed of being a teacher when I was a child, as a young teen, and later the dream continued as a young adult. My life took many different turns and I shifted to other dreams, but this dream remained a secret one, I never really thought that it would be possible for me to be a teacher...I'm not sure why, I was the first member of my family who had graduated college, there have been many success stories, but no one had graduated college. I was a good mother, I had obtained and held down a variety of really good jobs, and one day I just decided to do it...and that was a number of years ago...keep dreaming...they do come true. Great write....
Blessings,

Perhaps your apprehension is not stupidity, but wisdom.
Your feelings can lead you into unwise choices.
Better to be alone and make God your best friend than to enter into a relationship that you know in your heart is not right for you.
An intriguing poem.

We have to end up somewhere...but we never really know where. That's why we dream. Keep on dreaming, my friend. Dreams have a habit of coming true...especially if you dream of spiders and wine ;-) But what a lovely poem you wrote. Victor

Tinks ...

There are so many beginnings and endings in this life. We are always going someplace from somewhere, and the process repeats indefinitely.

Your beautifully introspective write reveals a woman with deep caring rivers, who often ponders life's imponderables.
