If I scribe a few lines
Bringing a tear
To the loveliness of
your eyes
Please Forgive Me
My intentions were not
To make you cry.

If my thoughts I placed
On blank parchment
And you enjoyed, its contents
Making you laugh or smile
Then my heart will rejoice.

If by any chance I write
Something dark
Within the macabre
Frightening your night
Just say a pray
Before you close your eyes.

If I write about a subject
that brings anger you you
So be it
For I’ve expressed
My treasured feelings.

I write what’s in my mind
For I value my thoughts
I don’t wish
To visualize them
Scattered in the Four Wind.
