Years ago I heard a typical aussie joke about sheila's, slang for an oz woman...
A Sheila asked her b/f to meet her on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
"I’ve got something to tell you, I’m preganant and if you don’t marry me, I’m going to jump off this bridge into Sydney Harbour"
