I wrote this yesterday, and had doubts
about posting it, due to it's contents
But Gorg's latest posting inspired
me to do so.......

Come back to me
~*~

I don't want to
go on without you
its so bad to be alone
Oh, baby come home
I need you
Yes I do now
My room is so blue
I keep seeing your face
Every place.

Here in the gloom
Of my lonely room
I hold your handkerchief
Smell your sweet perfume
I can't stand to be
living without you
Oh my darling hear my plead
Come home back to me
I don't want to baby
No I don't want to
Continue living without you.
( This a song by the Drifters)

"Yet it says it all on how I feel
About you being so far away
I need you by my side
Without you my darling I will die"
(These are my words)

These lonely walls
Are closing in on me
Soon there will be no escape
Then what will I do?

Will I grasp that cold lifeless
Blue steel
rest it's coolness on my temple
contemplate the consequences
Of the bizarre
scattering matter all over
our benign white walls?

Will I dare to feel the harshness
Of a hangman’s noose
around the softness of my throat
Than again where will I
Secure it's other end to?

Am I, ready to be discovered
Smeared
In a messy state of confusion
soaked in urine and the defecation
Of all vile that dwelled
Within a lost soul?

Not likely
I've decided to sentence myself
To death by old age
Hurry home my darling
So I can begin my sentence.
(These are my hideous thoughts)

I like it when a poem shows that the author is not afraid of telling things the way they are, even the darkest thoughts can be shared.

Whew! Not much to add, but know that I [we] love you!! Take care. As they say, "It's always darkest before the dawn."

God bless you. Kathy

William,

Get naked and go outside and dance in the moonlight. Cures those steel blues -

Interesting writ, a little unusual for you, I like it - but I'm kind of the most contrived author around.

She's lucky to have real love - all kidding and depressionism aside.

I know this isn't really "your" thoughts and nice experimentalism into the realm of the dark side of emotiveness. Kind of liberating in a way isn't it?

Filled with so much sadness and depression...I truly hope this is just some dark fiction you have written. If not, I am so sorry!
love and peace, Carole~

Oh William I am lost for words, it is clear that you truly love her and I hope she reads your words and if she doesn't come back I do hope you find someone who is worthy of you and the love you can offer. Thank you for sharing.

ouch--i am so very sorry--this is not the way to get her to come back--my youngest son's father committed suicide--the most selfish of acts--please re-think this--no one is worth it

...you have penned some very dark verse here...yet in light...the final verse...yet holds perhaps a different meaning...within its sentence.
very well written William...

Sentenced to death by old age, can't happen to a better man.
Inspiring you to sadness wasn't the intention, then again, the road to Hell is paved with good ones.
If the poem is not fiction, your pain are my pain.

Geez, William, Snap out of it! (Like Cher's famous line in Moonstruck)
Should I be worried about you? or is this just really amazingly well written fiction. This is quite a dark, uniquely written poem.
Much Peace, love, and light,

You and Brother Georg have truly penned extremely sad and haunting odes to love today, my friend. And I truly hope much happier days are ahead.
