When a suicide puts out another’s light
and leaves them in darkness for
the rest of their years to come...
there is no escape from the shadows
at hand, with the darkness these
shadows must drift in and stand,
and darkness changes the cup of wine
to one of bitterness and hope lost.
A selfish act sees naught one else....
Nor does it ever consider the cost
for those who come after and try
to walk in the light.
Head bowed, tears fallen...
Grief for those lost never lets go
Anguish follows where ever it
is that this sorrowed heart travels;
peace is known nevermore.
Generation upon generation must
walk through this shadow until
the payment of karma comes due in full.
With this one senseless and selfish act,
a piece of my heart was ever lost,
now,
my love walks in darkness all alone -
paying karma for an act that was never his,
nor did he ever ask for.
You, with your selfishness, took
away my beautiful love from me.
A senseless suicide never finds peace.
