blue is for passions that some think are pink
it's the aqua in precious clean waters we drink
it's skies that are open with doilies of clouds
it's dark moods that cause us to weep out loud
it's Crayolas and craypods of lapis...blue-green
it's Mondays and weatherman's cable blue screen
it's wee baby booties on tiny pink feet
it's eyes that are calling for more chocolate sweets
it's the beautiful Nile River and sheer lingerie
it's the sparks that light midnight with comets that play
midnight is black with hints of blue hues
it's suede in the lyrics of Elvis and shoes
it's the moon and it's radiance...the fireworks of hearts
it's polka dots visible when eyes shut out dark
it's navy... my color...its Robin egg blue
it's waltzes with lovers on the Blue Danube
Montana and big sky...the denim in jeans
it's oceans of dolphins who play in my dreams
its my color... my eyes and my navy blue shoes
it's the color of bluebells...its love for me too
it's the blue that is opposite the pink for females
it's the stripe on the backs of exotic tree snails
it's azure and passion...emotion...its faint
it's violets of lavender blue and its paint
it's the sapphire in gems and the eye of a storm
kaleidoscopes...tropics of liquid form
it's light and its dark...its hues and it's tints
its acrylic...not plastic and violet...its faint
there's pink hearts for the lovers that call
then for those who are hurting...
well...its bouncing blue balls
it's me... all blue-eyed... wrapped in your smile
blueberries hand fed to the lips of a child
it's the feathers with white in the funny Blue Jay
it's art...its Picasso and sunny sky days
it's Civil War soldiers... the Yankees in toys
it's girls in lace collars and vested Blue Boys
it's a primary color with changing techniques
it's the mess that I make with paint on my cheeks.
