Blessed be any gardner! Luckily, I was my dear gardner grandmother's willing young apprentice, and although my thumb will never be as green as hers, it truly is a wonderful pastime.
Oh Susan, this is just absolutely beautiful!!! Your words flow like the great poet that you are, and you brought a wonderful scene with a taste of humor to this reader. I thought this was excellent!

I'm with you on this one, but I feel blessed everytime I see something beautiful as you have written about . . . Thank God for horticulture artists . . . Gotta love it . . .
I, too, have a brown thumb. Only plant I ever had that grew died when my twin sister (who was left in charge of it) forgot to water it...no amount of moisture could resuscitate that poor plant! Enjoyed this one.
Hahahahaha.......put your figers in cow dung before you use them.......girl I promise you it will grow............lol!!
Farmgirl from the far side..tried and tested that....just wash your hands in something better smelling after you did that...or you will smell and grow goggas under your fingernails!!
