It's going to be a sissy winter
No red , cold, cheeks for me
It's muggy and humid where I live now
Fall is a word for the meek
I like wearing flannel in winter
And socks on my feet at night
I want to snuggle with someone
Down here it's too warm ... up tight
I miss spooning in cool weather
Here, it's something to do in a pool
Where it's cold it comes with the territory
Even makes old folks drool
I'm missing the seasonal difference
When winter comes with Jack Frost
I'm stuck with a sissy winter
I want it cooler at any cost.
I gotta tell you, each winter that comes, makes me want to be exactly where you are now. I can trade places with you for a few weeks and you tell me which you prefer, I will bet that you will be glad to be in your sunny state! It was icy tonight and everyone was slipping and sliding and accidents all over the highway. No thanks, I take warm sunshine over this anyday.

Ahhh dear Susan, you should be here with me today then, I just came home from six hours of being Santa at the mall, the roads are snow covered and slippery, the temp is around minus 10 but with wind chill of minus 19 Celsius that is and every second house has there Christmas lights on...I have a fire in the stove and it's perfect snuggle bunny weather.
I know JUST how you feel. We lived in Arizona for a few years, winter was gorgeous, but never cold. Had to come to New Mexico to know that winter had TRULY arrived. brrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well written Susan. Tell you what; suppose we trade houses for a month or three this winter. You want cold and snow? Welcome to The White Mountains of NH. A sissy winter here is anything above 20 degrees F and less than 3 feet of snow. You won't miss the seasonal difference for too long and I'll welcome the warmth. Have a great day and God bless.
It's actually a "sissy winter" here too. I miss the winters in Missouri, now that's a winter to look forward to, The summers are so hot and muggy, but the winters are cold and snowy and invigorating.
