Don't knock it until you try it. Not to be taken that serious, ok!

Poem Artwork

I haven't got nothing from this earth,
my place of birth,
where sometimes they measure our worth,
but a hard freaking time.
Yet some joy did sublime.

When I was young
I didn't think I was worth spit anyway.
It was a struggle to just make it
from day to day.
Life was full of downs,
man did I need the clowns.

When I was in my twenties I got a hunch,
something told me to go out for lunch.
So I packed my bags,
gathered up my little bit of rags,
and took off to parts unknown.
Every since then I've been gone.

On up until this day,
I've been millions of miles away.
People just don't know where I've been living,
but I still learned to be loving and forgiving.
For this reason God brought me around,
lifted my heart and soul off the ground.

I'm thinking about returning from lunch,
but I hate this world a bunch.
I like where I'm at,
I've got nine lives of the cat.
Cause I don't give a ratz azz about reality,
come back I might end up a fatality.
