Hello and happy new year to all my friends, even my enemies. I'm not back fully yet, just passing through. I'm almost finished my second book and hope to be writing more verse soon. Also visiting and reading yours.

On twelve o'clock high,
the old year will pass on by.
The new year will enter,
still there are hearts cold as winter.
It seems old anxieties would leave,
yet most hang around to decieve.

Mine are nestled in my head,
yet my brain is in a better place instead.
Everything I use to hate,
I surely still can relate.
Even though I'm relating,
there is no dictating.

Let all anxieties be forgotten,
they're the same as an apple rotten.
but they won't go,
still we should grow.
It can be a happy new year,
even with the old near.
