A thousand years from now
we probably won't even need oil,
I wonder if sandwiches will still be
wrapped in foil?
Sandwich bags will probably cost more,
we'll have to pay a higher price to wax the floor.

Popcorn in the movies will be higher,
I wonder if anyone will remember Richard Pryor?
The three stooges will be
a thousand years older,
some people still won't pray to the beholder.
Taxes will be a lot higher,
plane seats will cost more for the frequent flyer.

Cities will probably be covered with roofs,
jail houses won't be able to hold all the goofs.
We won't need keys for handcuffs,
women will still love their powder puffs.
Mars will still be red,
I guess we'll still have a head.
