The holiday wouldn't be complete, without love in the proper seat.
Love in the heart
gives Christmas
a great start
Sharing that love
in whole and not in part
completes the ring
Angels in the sky
look down and sing
Blessed is the one
who prays for others
even his evil sisters
and brothers
The gifts are all wrapped
under the tree
paid for but love
should be given free
Worn outward carefully
with no shame if
others see
Giving thanks on
Christmas day
and each day afterwards
the same loving way
Holding onto the meaning
of the holiday
as Christmas passes away

Very excellently presented, Grady. This is what we are all about and Christmas is our annual symbol for what and who we are. Love is about creation and creation is about God (Jesus said it all those years ago) -- and we were listening. When all the gifts have been opened and the trash carried away, when all the carols and hymns have been sung, when the Tree of Lights has been taken down and put away, we will still be love-mongers because our hearts are wrapped around God every minute of every day.
