(The king, finally fed up with the whole dragon dilemma, finally sent for a dragon slaying knight that was meaner.)

the king finally got wise and ordered another dragon slayer knight from another land. when the black knight arrived he surely got a big surprise, for he knew the king's jest from a prior kings castle nest.

later on during the evening, the black knight pulled the king aside and told him how the jest was one for a free ride, then he asked the king if he had ever seen the dragon, which the king responded, "sure thine dragon is big as a warrior full wagon!" the black knight then told the king that the jest use to have a pet dragon for a friend, however at the time he was so small he couldn't offend.

the king then summoned his jest to the throne near. the jest responded and seemed to be shaking with fear.

whilest all this was going on, the queen had fled the throne. she slipped out to met the dragon in the woods to take him some soup bone. she and the dragon had quite a good time, laughing at the kings worrying behind. she told the dragon she couldn't get the king to pay, I mean pray. she then told the dragon his friend the jest had probably seen his last day

far from the castle wall the queen and dragon heard this loud scream, it seems as though the jest was being boiled in oil, oh how mean

the queen then told her dragon pet that it was time for her to get, so she mounted her horse and started on her course

before she split she reminded the dragon that he had better lay low because of the mean black knight the king summoned to fight

she reminded the dragon to pray and forget his play, and maybe he would live to see another day

as she entered the castle gate she figured the jest had met his fate. however he was still alive and that was no jive. the king had his men surround his queen and horse, then he raised his voice, "for thine queen should began to pray because she was getting ready to join the jest in the dungeon nest

later on that night he got down on his knees and prayed to his God, "Lord my savior King, I knew that queen witch wasn't true to me, this is why i never would let her know my real faith with thee."

he then went to the kitchen and fetched all of the goodies fit for a dragon, had them put in his wagon. that night he went to visit his friend at the woods end. as they both sat and enjoyed their freedom, he thanked the dragon for helping him rid himself of the wicked queen, then the dragon said, "man did we play those wicked two for they taste better in my meaty stew

the king then said I'll toast to that,
I would have some but the queen and jest might taste to much like field rat

the dragon just groaned and picked his teeth with the jest's sharp sheath

the black knight went on his way, pockets full of the kings big pay and happy to be apart of such a tricky get even play
