My wife is always saying, "you think everything is funny."

I told her, "sure I plan to continue laughing after I give you all of my money."

As soon as the check hit the bank.

It's gone quicker than the gas in my car tank.

She was fussing at me one day and I just bust out laughing, man I wasn't even halfing.

Again she said, "you think everything is funny."

I responded, "would you prefer the alternative of an angry response honey?"

You see, a long time ago I figured I had better try to smile and laugh my way through this sometimes crazy world.

It just seemed better than being on an angry swirl.

Here's the chemical data to support this philosophy and decision. At a very young age I found out that things like anger and hate caused certain type negative hormones to enter the blood stream. Then on the otherhand smiling and laughing caused good hormones to come to the body's coping team.

Now if this is true , why not counteract the habit of being mean.

After twenty some years of practically laughing myself silly at things that should have made me angry, I'm convinced that this really works and is the right thing for me personally to do.

You know all those baseball bat mother-in-law carrying jokes, well I haven't been true to you.

My mother-in-law would never come after me with a baseball bat.

Maybe an M1A1 Abrams tank with machine guns that go rata tat tat.

It's all jokes and fun pokes.

I admit one thing though, my mother-in-law is a pain. This is where my jokes come from in the main.

Remember the movie, "Throw Momma from the Train?"

Well, I wouldn't do my sweet wifes mother so mean.

Now if you believe that, then you'll believe this is the proper spelling of the word, "PHAT."
