Not That Bad

The ups and downs of life.

Am I kidding myself,
or is myself kidding me?
Is life tricking me,
or am I tricking life?
Is this life not so bad,
or is bad not this life?

One minute you're up,
the next minute you're down.
When you're up,
lifes headed down,
when life is up,
you're headed down.
When you're doing fine,
your friends are crying.
When you're crying,
your friends are fine.

This morning I felt bad,
my wife was feeling glad.
Her question,
"what's wrong with you?"
Like I'm not suppose to feel blue.

When she feels bad,
I better feel glad.
Two feeling bads,
equals two great big sads.

Walk in the door at work,
attitudes are full of pork.
Just a little too much fat,
so sadly they sat.
I walk in feeling down,
everyones else is acting like a clown.

I want to ride,
my cars not running.
I don't want to ride,
my cars running fine.

Lifes not so bad,
it's just life,
the way it is,
or the way it appears.

Oh well,
welloh.

G
