Sense of humor to the rescue,
supporting to the souls renew.
Enlightening the beings sunrise.
counteracting the suffering of cries.

But it's so easy to shed a tear,
even harder to muster a smile.
To get a good laugh going,
be happy for awhile.

Laughing all the time,
just laughing anytime,
knee slapping adventures,
jarring the teeth or dentures.
Where I want to be,
happy and pain free.

A joy and laughing fantasy.

If I'm laughing,
am I really happy,
maybe feeling crappy?
So what of ones sadness,
laughing enhances gladness.
A form of temporary joy,
what a gift of God toy!

We should learn how to use it,
even if we have to abuse it.
Looking for a good laugh,
on my heart and souls behalf.

Fill me with joy and glee,
I just want to be happy.
If I can't get it for a life time,
maybe I can enjoy it sometime.
Maybe one minute of a day,
one minute of misery away.
If it's for any less,
Lord I tried my best.

Joy in the morning,
joy in the evening,
joy at supper time,
joy, joy, joy,
joy all the
time.
