Happy Valentine was a day,
but no love seem to come his way.
Happy knew he wanted love,
so he prayed to God above.
Give me love Lord,
without it I can't afford.
I need a special feeling,
one lovely and appealing,
so bright in thrilling.

As happy sat and cried,
under the bright sun he almost fried.
His burn was so bad,
his whole body turned to red.
Happy was burned all over,
so he tried to run for cover.

Happy's red never went away,
he is still red until this day.
He was granted his love,
given a whole day by God above.
His life is full of loves bliss,
Happy Valentines a forever kiss.
