I will not believe my life
was left solely to chance..
I know that fate is the reason I am here..
I have come so close to deaths door..
Far to many times..
To be saved by some
unsuspecting angle sent to save my life..
I have tried to leave this world of pain...
only to be saved again and again..
I did not live this life of hell on earth..
To have nothing to offer this world of worth..
I do not wait for fate to knock at my door..
I have had to climb mountains..
Scream my lungs out of breath
Crawl through miles of glass..
But I still know it is fate that will lead me..
to the reason I have had to suffer
so much in the past..
We all have our ideas of
Fate ..
Destiny..
God..
To me my friends..
They are all one in the same..
Just called by different names..
So please understand..
I must have a reason to live
the life that I did..
One day I will find it..
Find the reason I had to suffer ..
a child alone and afraid..
And when I do my friends..
The world will know..
Children have rights..
the right to love
the right to grow
the right to play..
the right to live
without abuse..
the right to tell
their hidden truths
to walk without shame..
no longer the blame..
a right to be safe..
a right to NOT be sent back
to the very home that abused them
in the first place.
Just a right to be happy..
to live without fear..
Is that so must to ask for
the children we love
so very dear..
This is part of my fate
To have a voice in this world..
And it WILL be heard..
Like it or not..
this will come to be..
I know it in my heart..
And that my friends
Is my fate to me.
My destiny...

A great destiny. A child does have rights to be a child. I get frustrated when I hear an abusive parent gets another chance to hurt a child. The child's rights should be more important. If you hit a child; no second chances!
